Rockwool LRB Mattress

Rockwool Lightly Resin Bonded mattress (LRB) is made of fine fibers spun from selected rocks melted at high temperature and bonded with a thermosetting resin. They are faced on one side with galvanized wire mesh for easy installation. Refmon Rock Wool LRB Mattresses are flexible, strong, resilient, easy to cut and handle to suit intricate shapes, and have a low thermal conductivity which helps in controlling heat loss, contributing to reduced operating cost and greater energy saving.

Rock Wool LRB Mattresses are majorly used in thermal insulation of large vessels, tanks, pipe sections, Boilers, Furnaces, Kilns, Ducts, Heating systems, and equipment.

Rockwool Resin Bonded (RB) slabs.

• Resin Bonded Slabs are used for hot and cold insulation, Acoustic insulation, Fire protection, and Sound insulation.
• They are used at service temperatures ranging from -50 deg c to +750 deg C.
• Due to their flexible structure, they can be used on flat as well as curved surfaces.

Rockwool Mattress slabs are generally used in building applications like wall insulation, soundproofing of partitions, false celling, air-conditioning duct insulation, and industrial insulation like furnaces insulation, tank insulation, Boiler insulation, etc. Rockwool RB slabs are also used in acoustic insulation work for auditoriums, theatres, public places,s and industrial areas where noise reduction is required.
